Every year we see our medical doctor for our annual checkup. But how often do you check your mental health?
No, I am not saying that you need to see a therapist every year for an annual check up. However, it wouldn't hurt and if you have been in therapy in the past it can be very helpful to go in for a tune up. I call this the maintenance plan and if helps to keep clients on track when they need additional support. I also offer this with my coaching clients.
